Manchester City Yas Residences by Ohana is the first home community in the world with the Manchester City Football Club name. The project costs AED 15 billion ($4.1 billion). It is on Yas Canal in Abu Dhabi, right next to Yas Island. Work on the site has started, and Phase 2 homes are now on sale.

How It All Started

Ohana and Manchester City signed their deal in January 2026.

One month later, in February 2026, Ohana showed the project to the public at a big event at Etihad Park in Abu Dhabi. Ohana’s CEO Husein Salem and COO Mustafa El Sammak were there. Ferran Soriano, the CEO of City Football Group, also came to the event.

Big Sales in Just 3 Days

People were very excited to buy. In March 2026, Ohana said it sold AED 6 billion ($1.63 billion) worth of homes in only 72 hours. That is just 3 days. Ohana said this was a new sales record for homes in Abu Dhabi.

When the project first opened, villas sold at an average price of $1.9 million each.

Building Work Has Started

On September 25, 2026, Ohana held a special event to mark the start of building work. People from the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) and City Football Group came to the event.

On the same day, Ohana opened a new Experience Centre on Yas Canal. This is a place where buyers can visit and see models of the homes. They can also look at the full plan of the community before they buy.

In October 2026, Ohana opened Phase 2 at a big event at Etihad Arena. More than 4,000 people came.
